Genuent, a Houston-based IT staffing subsidiary of the Willis Group, named John McCarthy as CFO. He is responsible for the overall financial management of the company and also oversees the strategic planning, human resource and information technology functions. Most recently, McCarthy was senior VP of finance for Ciber and VP of finance for Hewlett-Packard. Genuent also named Brian Wagner as managing director of project solutions. Wagner’s past experience includes VP, strategic accounts for ACS Group; managing executive for ManpowerGroup; and VP, project solutions for Experis.

IT staffing provider MDI Group added Paul Citarella to its board of directors. Citarella is the chief commercial officer for PeopLease, a transportation professional employer organization. The company also named Allan Dunn as managing director of its Phoenix office. Dunn has nine years of previous experience with MDI Group, including four years as a client manager and five years as a managing director.

Frank Recruitment Group, a UK-based niche recruitment firm for IT professionals who specialize in enterprise software, appointed Sunny Ackerman as president of Americas. Ackerman will oversee and expand Frank Recruitment Group’s outreach and presence across the Americas, including opening new strategic hubs and increasing the headcount in all existing hubs. Ackerman most recently was VP and general manager at Manpower.

Alta Associates, an executive search firm specializing in information security, cybersecurity and IT risk management, hired Pam Stenson for the newly created role of chief resiliency officer. 

Queen Associates Inc., a Charlotte, N.C.-based IT consulting and staffing firm, promoted Monica York to COO. York joined the company as director of recruiting and delivery and will continue to lead the delivery organization at Queen Associates, as well as oversee the operations functions of the company.
