People on the move: Heidrick, WilsonHCG, CoreMedical, Relode, Worksome, Recruitics, more

Executive search provider Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. named Sunny Ackerman as global managing partner, on-demand talent, effective Feb. 12. Ackerman will lead on-demand talent solutions across all of Heidrick globally, inclusive of Business Talent Group and Atreus. Ackerman has more than 25 years of experience in the staffing industry and most recently was president of Americas at SThree plc. Ackerman’s experience also includes 13 years at ManpowerGroup, most recently as senior VP and general manager of North America. She is also on the board of directors at the TechServe Alliance and on the leadership council at the Women Business Collaborative. Ackerman appeared on SIA’s Staffing 100 North America and Global Power 150 Women in Staffing lists last year.

WilsonHCG named Marisa Kacary as its first chief marketing officer. Kacary has more than 25 years of experience as a marketing leader in the talent acquisition and RPO space. Kacary will be based in the UK. WilsonHCG provides RPO and other services.

CoreMedical Group, a Manchester, New Hampshire-based healthcare staffing agency, appointed Laura Magner as chief operating officer. Magner has more than 30 years of staffing experience, previously serving as president and partner at General Healthcare Resources and as COO and partner at RecruitIQ Staffing. Prior to that, Magner spent 14 years at Supplemental Health Care. As COO at CoreMedical, Magner will oversee operations, strategy and growth. She appeared on SIA’s 2022 Global Power 150 Women in Staffing list.

Relode, a healthcare recruitment solution, named Jay Grantham as its VP of finance. Grantham has 20 years of experience as a finance executive. His past experience includes five years at TalentWave (acquired by People2.0). Relode also recently announced partnerships with epocrates and ENP Network.

Worksome appointed David Weiss as senior VP of revenue effective Feb. 1. Weiss has more than 25 years of expertise in VMS and MSP. He previously was executive VP of global sales at Vndly. He will be based in New York.

Recruitment marketing platform Recruitics announced that Bob Lord is joining its board of advisors. Lord previously held executive roles at IBM, including chief digital officer and senior VP of worldwide ecosystem and cognitive applications. Lord previously served as president of AOL and as global CEO of Razorfish. Lord is also an executive fellow for the entrepreneurial leadership program at the Harvard Business School and co-author of the book Converge: Transforming Business at the Intersection of Marketing and Technology.

Executive search firm Calibre One tapped Luis DeAnda to lead its new consumer division as partner and head of consumer practice. Prior to joining Calibre One, DeAnda was a partner at True Search and head of the consumer go-to-market practice. He will work from Calibre One’s Los Angeles office.

Russell Reynolds Associates appointed Gemma Burgess as a managing director to join Deb Barbanel to co-lead the firm’s global real estate practice. Burgess has 20 years of search and consulting experience. Burgess joins Russell Reynolds from executive search firm Ferguson Partners.

Staffing firm Solomon Page named Austin Walker as director of business development for its professional services, technology division under the direction of Managing Director Dan Quin. Walker previously held roles at firms such as Randstad and PeopleReady. He is based in South Carolina.

Mastech Digital Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN: MHH) board member Gerhard Watzinger will not seek reelection in order to focus on personal commitments, the company reported in a regulatory filing.
