Genuent, a Houston-based IT staffing subsidiary of the Willis Group, named John McCarthy as CFO. He is responsible for the overall financial management of the company and also oversees the strategic planning, human resource and information technology functions. Most recently, McCarthy was senior VP of finance for Ciber and VP of finance for Hewlett-Packard.

TrueBlue Inc. (NYSE: TBI), one of the largest industrial staffing providers in the US, announced Maggie Lower joined the company as chief marketing officer, effective Jan. 8. In the new role at the corporation, Lower leads the company’s digital, brand marketing, innovation, and communications strategies for each of its brands: PeopleReady, PeopleManagement and PeopleScout. Lower most recently was CMO at Alight, a $2 billion global benefits administration and cloud-based HR business. TrueBlue is based in Tacoma, Wash.

New York City-based nextSource, a MSP/VMS provider added Yvonne McAteer as senior VP of sales and strategy. She has more than 20 years of industry experience, including at KellyOCG and Superior Group.

RPO solutions and executive search provider Taylor Strategy Partners appointed Mike Gamble as president. He previously worked for Yoh in a variety of leadership and sales executive positions including VP of enterprise solutions.

Frank Recruitment Group, a UK-based niche recruitment firm for IT professionals who specialize in enterprise software, appointed Sunny Ackerman as president of Americas, effective Monday. Ackerman will oversee and expand Frank Recruitment Group’s outreach and presence across the Americas, including opening new strategic hubs and increasing the headcount in all existing hubs. Ackerman most recently was VP and general manager at Manpower.

Voca, a national staffing firm based in Rochester, Minn., added David Wengender as sales director. Wengender most recently was owner of Edge Resources, a specialty firm targeting national direct hire placement. Hire Investment changed its name to Voca last year.

TempWorks Software, a provider of software to the staffing industry, named Allan Brown as senior VP. Brown is formerly president of AllStaff Staffing & Recruiting in Chicago. He has more than 20 years of experience in the staffing industry.
