Critical Energy Infrastructure Services LLC, a portfolio company of private equity firm White Wolf Capital, acquired Clover Leaf Solutions, a government contracting, consulting and staffing provider based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The number of engineering jobs in the US edged up by 0.14% in February from January, reflecting an increase of 3,800 engineering workers, according to an analysis by the TechServe Alliance, a trade association representing the IT and engineering staffing and solutions industry.

System One, a Pittsburgh-based IT and engineering staffing provider, acquired RPG Resources, a diverse environmental services company also based in Pittsburgh.RPG Resources provides inspection engineering and environmental solutions which align with and complement System One's outsourced services to the oil and gas, renewable energy, telecom, transmission and distribution, and utility services sectors.The transaction closed on Jan. 23; terms were not announced.

Average starting salaries for college graduates in the Class of 2023 appear to be leveling off, according to data from the Winter 2023 Salary Survey, released by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.Average salaries for 2023 grads with bachelor's degrees in engineering and math and sciences will go up by just 0.7%.

IT services giant Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. announced managing director and CEO Rajesh Gopinathan will step down from his role to pursue other interests. He will continue with the company till Sept. 15 to provide transition and support to his successor. Gopinathan joined India-based TCS in 2001 and held several leadership positions, including CFO, before attaining his current role in 2017.

Digital Intelligence Systems LLC, one of the largest US IT staffing firms, finalized its acquisition of LinTech Global Inc., a federal prime contract holder with expertise delivering IT and engineering solutions to federal defense and civilian government agencies.The deal closed at the end of last year.
