AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AHS), the largest US healthcare staffing provider, announced Dr. Cole Edmonson will join the company as chief clinical officer. He will fill the position held by Dr. Marcia Faller, who is retiring at the beginning of 2019; Faller will continue with AMN in a consulting capacity. Edmonson most recently was chief nursing officer at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, a position he held since 2010.

CHG Healthcare, the second-largest healthcare staffing firm in the US, named Leslie Snavely as chief digital officer, a new position within the firm. Snavely joined CHG in 2010 and most recently was senior VP of marketing and product management; she has also led the company’s corporate business development team.

Jackson Healthcare, one of the largest US healthcare staffing firms, hired Anne Patton as VP of corporate marketing and communications. She most recently held similar leadership positions in the high-tech and enterprise software space, most recently at Verint Systems Inc. Prior to that, Patton worked in communications roles on the agency side with B2B and B2C brands.

Maxim Healthcare Services, which ranks as the sixth-largest US healthcare staffing firm, announced Chief Medical Officer John Langley has been elected to chair the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Section on Home Care.
