The deal was first announced in May.Terms of the transaction were not announced.Prior to the acquisition, Jackson Healthcare ranked as the fifth-largest healthcare staffing firm in the US while LRS ranked as the 25th-largest.Founded in 2006, LRS Healthcare provides nurse and allied health staffing. It will continue operate under the LRS brand name from its location in Nebraska.

Premier Health of America Inc., a Blainville, Quebec-based healthcare staffing provider, struck a deal to acquire Solutions Staffing Inc., a Vancouver, British Columbia-based healthcare staffing firm that provides nurses and allied healthcare professionals. The deal will make Premier a national service provider in Canada.Total consideration for the transaction is C$21 million (US$15.9 million) in cash plus net working capital and tax adjustments.

The role of president will be taken on by Leslie Snavely, while her former role as chief sales officer will be filled by Bill Heller.Snavely joined CHG in 2010 as VP of marketing and has since held a wide range of roles, including senior VP of marketing and business development as well as chief strategy and digital officer. She led the acquisitions of Modio Health and Locumsmart.
