Eliassen Group LLC, an IT and life sciences staffing firm, acquired Foothills Consulting Group, an IT staffing provider based in Burbank, California.

The deal closed Aug. 17 for a 100% stake in the firm and enables Eliassen Group to expand its west coast presence.

Founded in 2004, Foothills Consulting Group will undergo a gradual transition to the Eliassen Group brand.

“Foothills Consulting Group comes to Eliassen with a wealth of incredible talent and experience, and we share the same values that drive our business and that ultimately serve our clients,” Eliassen Group CEO Dave MacKeen said.

The Foothills Consulting Group leadership team will remain and report to Eliassen Group VP, West Region Chad Durden, under the leadership of Eliassen Group President Talent Tolutions Tom Hart.

“Not only are our consultants now connected to opportunities for roles nationwide, but our clients can benefit from expanded expertise in Eliassen Group’s areas of specialty, including cloud, Agile, and software engineering,” Foothills Consulting Group co-founder and VP, Business Development Patrick Johannes said.

The deal follows Eliassen Group’s acquisition of Fidato Partners LLC in January and aligns with the group’s ongoing focus on transformational growth.

Founded in 1989, Eliassen Group is based in Reading, Massachusetts, and ranks among the largest US providers of IT staffing.
