CoWorx Staffing Services promoted Kara Rogan to CEO and TrueBlue Inc. (NYSE: TBI) named Taryn Owen as president and chief operating officer of the company.

CoWorx Staffing Services, a Morristown, New Jersey-headquartered staffing firm, promoted Kara Rogan to CEO. Rogan previously served as the company’s chief operating officer for nearly two years.

“As CEO, I am thrilled to continue to lead a company that is focused on creating relationships and opportunity through work and giving back to the communities we serve,” Rogan said. “Staffing is a people industry, and to succeed, we must be focused on the current needs of the workforce. ”

Rogan joined CoWorx 17 years ago as a director and rose through the ranks. By 2010, she was promoted to senior director, Southern New England, and in 2016 she was promoted to VP, East Region, managing more than 30 locations.

“I’m continually impressed by Kara’s ability to not only navigate challenges and deliver results, but her unwavering commitment to her team,” former CoWorx CEO Tim Hartnett said.

Rogan was named to SIA’s Global Power 150 — Women in Staffing list in 2022.

TrueBlue

Industrial staffing firm TrueBlue Inc. named Taryn Owen as president and chief operating officer of the company, effective in September.

Owen joined TrueBlue in 2019 and has served as president of TrueBlue operating brands PeopleReady and PeopleScout. In her new role, she leads TrueBlue’s operating segments as well as the technology, marketing and communications, and human resources functions at the Tacoma, Washington-based firm.

“I am confident that Taryn’s expertise in recruiting and staffing, deep alignment to our mission and values and proven ability to foster a culture of collaboration and empowerment will well position TrueBlue for the future,” CEO Steve Cooper said.

Owen appeared on SIA’s 2022 Staffing 100 North America and Global Power 150 — Women in Staffing lists.
