TrueBlue Inc. (NYSE: TBI) reported the leader of its PeopleReady segment, Sean Ebner, has parted ways with the company effective immediately, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Aug. 16.

PeopleReady provides industrial staffing and represented revenue of $369.3 million in the second quarter. It’s the company’s largest reporting segment in terms of revenue; other segments include PeopleManagement and PeopleScout.

The filing said Ebner and the company agreed that his employment would be terminated effective immediately. TrueBlue President and CEO Patrick Beharelle will assume Ebner’s responsibilities at PeopleReady until the position is filled.

Ebner’s full title was executive VP and president PeopleReady. He had served in that role since June 2017. Prior to joining TrueBlue, he had served as president of Staff Care, a subsidiary of AMN Healthcare Inc. (NYSE: AMN) since March 2012. He had also led a division within Technisource, a subsidiary of Randstad, between 2001 and 2012, according to a TrueBlue regulatory filing.
