Elwood Staffing, a Columbus, Indiana-based staffing firm, acquired Advanced Personnel, a provider of light industrial and clerical staffing with offices in Wichita, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri. It’s the second buy this year for Elwood, which announced the acquisition of IES Custom Staffing Solutions in January.

Terms of the Advanced Personnel deal were not announced, and plans call for the acquired offices to be rebranded under the Elwood Staffing name.

The acquisitions were part of Elwood Staffing’s overall expansion plans.

“We are pushing hard to expand our footprint across the country,” Elwood Staffing President Diane Bohman said. “We opened 10 new branches last year, and we plan to open even more in 2023.”

IES Custom Staffing Solutions

Elwood Staffing also acquired IES Custom Staffing Solutions, a provider of industrial and clerical staffing services with offices throughout Idaho and northern Utah.

The acquisition boosts Elwood’s service capabilities in an already strong market and furthers the company’s plan for continued growth, according to the company. Plans call for the acquired operations to be rebranded under the Elwood Staffing name.

The financial terms of the transaction were not announced.

Elwood ranks among the largest staffing firms in the US. It has more than 275 service locations and employs more than 135,000 temporary workers annually.
