TotalMed, a nationwide clinical travel solutions and MSP services provider, acquired Medical Staffing Solutions LLC. TotalMed said the deal combines Medical Staffing Solutions’ talent pipeline with TotalMed’s job pairing technology.

Both brands will remain. Medical Staffing Solutions will continue to expand its nationwide pro re nata, or PRN, and government contingent staffing services in the wake of the deal. It was owned by nurses Melanie Theriac and Joanie Reneer, who will continue to lead the company. Medical Staffing Solutions, which has offices in Evansville and Lafayette, Indiana, staffs nurses, therapists, pharmacists, and other clinicians of all specialties nationwide.

The transaction closed on Aug. 13; terms were not disclosed.

TotalMed in 2017 acquired California-based Valley Healthcare Staffing Inc. TotalMed is headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin, with satellite offices in Sacramento, California; Chicago; Denver; Minneapolis; Nashville; and Pinehurst, North Carolina.
