TEKsystems names new president

December 06, 2022

TEKsystems, Allegis Group’s largest operating company and the largest IT staffing firm in the US, today announced Mark Collins will succeed Jay Alvather as president, effective Jan. 1, 2023.

Allegis Group, which ranks as the largest staffing firm in the US based on 2021 revenue, last month announced Jay Alvather will become Allegis Group’ CEO effective January 2023 after President Andy Hilger steps down from his role at the end of this year.

Under Alvather’s leadership, TEKsystems grew to more than $7 billion in annual revenue.

Collins started at TEKsystems in 1995 as the regional VP and has since led offices, regions, national and strategic sales, global services, and most recently expanded his role to support TEKsystems’ global operations.

“I’m proud to take on this new role as president of TEKsystems. I’m approaching this role like I have others — rooted in our core values with a customer-first mindset, continually looking for ways in which we can add more depth to our customer relationships,” Collins said.
