Robert Half names former New Orleans mayor to board

Professional staffing firm Robert Half International Inc. (NYSE symbol: RHI) on Wednesday elected Marc Morial to its board of directors and to its nominating and governance committee.

Morial is president and CEO of the National Urban League, the largest historic civil rights organization in the US, and has served in that position since 2003. From 1994 to 2002, he was mayor of the city of New Orleans and elected president of the bipartisan US Conference of Mayors. Before becoming mayor, Morial was a Louisiana state senator for two years.

Morial also served on the independent advisory board of Robert Half’s Protiviti subsidiary from 2009 until his election today to the Robert Half board of directors.

Robert Half, based in Menlo Park, Calif., has staffing and consulting operations in more than 400 locations worldwide. The company ranks sixth on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest staffing firms in the US.
