Nesco Resource acquires Regal Staffing Services’ Ohio branch

Nesco Resource, an Ohio-based engineering and industrial staffing provider, acquired the Columbus, Ohio, operations of Regal Staffing Services, effective Monday. It adds to Nesco’s four existing Columbus locations and continues Nesco’s expansion the Columbus marketplace.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The staff from the Regal Staffing Services’ Columbus operations will transition to Nesco Resource.

Regal Staffing Services, founded in 1995, is a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise. It is based out of Texas and will retain the rest of its operations in the Lone Star state.

Regal Staffing’s targeted sectors include clerical and light industrial; Nesco also serves those sectors as well as IT and engineering.

“Regal Staffing has a long-standing reputation of providing quality staffing solutions to a wide variety of firms throughout the Columbus, Ohio, market,” said Nesco Resource President John Tomsich. “We view this organization as a strong fit with Nesco Resource and we look forward to working through the transition steps to help realize this added value to all of our partners.”

Nesco is actively looking for acquisitions in IT and light industrial and is currently in discussion with interested parties, according to the company.

Nesco Resource provides temporary staffing, direct hire and permanent placement solutions to the commercial and professional industrial sectors. Headquartered outside of Cleveland, it was founded in 1956 as an engineering and design firm. In addition to the Nesco Resource brand, affiliate companies include Callos Resource, Lehigh Technical, ETS Staffing and DePasquale Staffing Services. Nesco Resource counts more than 100 locations nationwide and employed more than 51,000 associates on assignment in 2017.
