Chartwell Staffing Solutions, a staffing provider based in Lancaster, Penn., named Todd Oken as its CFO, effective July 5. He replaced Dawn Gamble, who joined Chartwell last year in the role but is no longer with the firm.

Oken most recently served as division CFO/VP finance for engineering and IT staffing provider CDI Corp.’s (NYSE: CDI) talent and technology solutions business. Previous to that, he was a senior manager at Deloitte Consulting.

“The addition of Todd Oken to our team represents a significant step forward for Chartwell,” CEO Roderick Santoro said. “Mr. Oken’s industry knowledge and demonstrated, ethical ability to deliver profitable growth is exactly what we require to fuel our continued expansion.”

Chartwell last year assumed control of a majority of the teams and 30 locations of Corporate Resource Services.

More recently, Chartwell acquired project and facilities management company Moving Solutions in May; both New York City-based Tiger Information Systems and Georgia-based Victory Staffing Solutions LLC in October; and Utah firm Eveready Staffing and Training last July.

Chartwell counts 41 offices in 13 states.
