Allegis Partners appoints new leader for US operations

August 19, 2016

Executive search firm Allegis Partners announced Michael Bergen, global practice leader of the firm’s human resources practice, took on the additional role of managing partner of its US operations, effective immediately.

Greg Richter, VP and global head of in-house and solution practice groups for Allegis Group’s legal search firm Major, Lindsey & Africa, previously also led US operations for Allegis Partners, and will now focus exclusively on his role at Major, Lindsey & Africa.

Allegis Partners is part of Allegis Group, the largest staffing firm in the US.

Prior to joining Allegis Partners in February 2015, Bergen was senior client partner in the human resources practice at Korn Ferry, and before that role he founded the Bergen Briller Group, an executive search and talent consulting firm that he led for more than 12 years. He currently serves as an advisory board member for human resource industry organization The Global Consortium to Reimagine HR, Employment Alternatives, Talent, and the Enterprise (CHREATE).

“I am excited to take on this additional leadership responsibility within Allegis Partners,” Bergen said. “We’ve made tremendous progress building an innovative executive search business with an intense focus on very specific practices including board, CEO and leading with the market’s finest human resources practice.”

Bergen is based in New York City.
