US temp staffing hours slipped 1.3% in the week ended April 6 and were down year over year, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report. Commercial staffing hours fell 1.2% week over week, while professional staffing hours fell 1.5%.

The latest data continues to suggest weakness in the staffing industry despite strength in the overall US economy.
