Blue-collar networking website Jobcase acquires software platform Recruitology

Jobcase, a social networking and jobs website for blue-collar workers, acquired Recruitology, which operates a platform that provides job board software, programmatic job advertising and artificial intelligence-enabled applicant tracking.

“Bringing Recruitology's impressive technology and partners into the Jobcase universe will clearly increase efficiency with which millions of Jobcasers can discover and achieve opportunities, and likewise will increase the ease in which organizations can proactively meet and support our awesome Jobcasers,” Jobcase CEO Fred Goff said.

Recruitology, based in San Jose, California, was founded by CEO Roberto Angulo while he was an undergraduate at Stanford University.

“Jobcase’s member community strengthens Recruitology’s offering to partners and employers,” Angulo said.

Angulo will become general manager of Recruitology, a Jobcase company.

Jobcase itself was founded in 2015 and has more than 130 million members. It acquired job-matching platform Upward.net last June. In July 2020, Jobcase had announced a $30 million funding round. It is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
