Astek Canada, a provider of IT staffing, acquired the Canadian subsidiary of Ineat, a provider of IT consulting.

“The acquisition of Ineat in Canada will allow us to expand our service offering thanks to the addition of specialized e-commerce and digital experience services, supported by cutting-edge local and global expertise,” said Michel Boucher, co-shareholder and president of Astek Canada.

Plans call for the acquired Ineat business to operate as a stand-alone business for now. It has 30 employees in Canada.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.
