CoPro Technology takes over Pacific Information Consultants’ SES business

Copro Holdings, a Japan-based holding company which owns a number of businesses including temporary staffing firm Copro Technology, announced it will acquire the system engineering service business (SES) from Pacific Information Consultants (PIC).

The acquisition is via Copro’s subsidiary Copro Technology. The price of the acquisition was not disclosed.

Copro Technology provides temporary staffing services, specialising in mechanical design engineers. It is also involved in the design and development of industrial goods.

Pacific Information Consultants, based in Tokyo, is involved in content production and web construction, software development, and system consulting.

Copro said it is positioning the IT field as a promising one, and under its consolidated subsidiary Copro Technology, it is developing an SES business targeting high-value added IT engineers. By taking over the SES business of PIC, in addition to receiving highly skilled IT engineers, the group said that the addition of SES business’ customer network will contribute to the further expansion of Copro Technology’s business.

Copro added that the impact of the acquisition will be insignificant for its FY 2024 consolidated business results.
