S.i. Systems ULC, which ranks among the largest staffing firms in Canada, acquired xiBoss Corp., a Toronto-based IT staffing firm that serves companies nationwide.

“We have been aware of the quality of IT services provided by xiBoss for quite some time, and although we both provide IT professionals on demand, we each had unique customer sets,” said Derek Bullen, CEO of S.i. Systems. “Combining our teams, we created larger centers of excellence for financial and tech clients and new centers of excellence in London, Guelph and Waterloo.”

XiBoss provides full-service IT staffing support.

“Joining S.i. Systems is a really exciting development for the xiBoss team and will benefit our ever-growing network of valued clients and of technology professionals,” said Glenn Pociluyko, president of xiBoss.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.

The acquisition of xiBoss follows an announcement by S.i. Systems earlier this year that it acquired Eagle Professional Resources, an IT staffing provider that also ranked among the largest Canadian staffing firms.

S.i. Systems is based in Calgary, Alberta.
