Tech search firm lands $25 million investment

Technology executive search firm Riviera Partners received a minority investment of $25 million from private equity firms Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors and ROCA Partners.

Riviera is based in San Francisco, but has more than 90 team members across the US, according to the company. The financing will go to geographic expansion, acquisition, enhancing its “Sutro” proprietary recruiting platform and adding staff.

“Kayne targets high-growth companies that bring game-changing software, processes and analytics to industries that are often behind the technology curve,” said Nishita Cummings, partner, Kayne Partners Fund. “In the same way that advanced analytics changed the game of baseball, we believe that Riviera’s proprietary technology and processes are changing the way executive recruiting is done.”

Riviera’s clients include GitHub, DoorDash, Hulu, Pinterest and Uber.
