Medix acquired Tisora Group, an engineering staffing company located in the Chicago suburbs.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.

The Tisora brand will not remain but its executives will transition to Medix, with Tisora Managing Partner Nick Limouris taking the role of national director of engineering.

Chicago-based Medix ranks on SIA’s list of largest staffing firms in the US. It provides staffing and workforce solutions in the healthcare, life sciences, engineering and construction, and technology industries. With $253 million in 2020 revenue, Medix counts 18 offices and ended 2020 with just under 500 employees. 

Tisora provides workforce solutions and staffing in the civil, manufacturing and architectural engineering fields. It had 14 employees.
