Japanese staffing firm, TwoStone & Son (7352: TYO), previously known as Branding Engineer, announced in January that it will acquire all of the shares of Maple Systems, a company that provides IT engineer job matching services.

The total price of the deal is JPY 352 million (USD 2.4 million). On 29 February, TwoStone & Son will acquire 21,240 shares from the company's representative director.

Maple Systems was founded in 2009 and is based in Tokyo.

Through the deal, MapleSystems and TwoStone & Son will be able to cross-sell by combining the customer bases of both parties and the IT engineer databases of both parties. TwoStone & Son also expects to improve its presence in the human resources industry.

The group said it anticipates realising synergies such as strengthening sales and recruiting capabilities and expanding its customer base.
