Turkish job board Kariyer announced that it is investing in PeopleBox, an applicant tracking system firm that specialises in digital recruitment, job posting, social recruiting, talent acquisition, software, HR Technology, recruiting software, recruitment, and recruitment marketing. It also provides video interviews with candidates, CV analysis and speed matching.

India-based BarRaiser, an AI-powered platform focused on hiring and interviewing job candidates, has raised USD 4.2 million in a seed funding round led by 021 Capital and Global Founders Capital, with participation from angel investors. BarRaiser uses AI to speed up hiring by scheduling interviews with one of its 800 “subject matter experts” and offering detailed assessment reports to recruiters. It also offers interview templates, auto-scheduling, and data-backed analytics. According to TechinAsia, BarRaiser will use the fresh funding to expand its presence and hire more engineers and data scientists to meet the demand for its product.
