Japan – Will Group revenue falls slightly by 4%

Japanese HR firm Will Group (6089:TYO), which focuses on temporary staffing, business contracting and recruitment, reported revenue today of JPY 88.14 billion (USD 775.0 million) for the nine months ended 31 December 2020, a fall of 4.0% when compared to the same period last year.

Will Group is engaged in the human resource business focusing on temporary staffing, business contracting and recruitment. The group operates in seven segments: Sales Outsourcing, Call Centre Outsourcing, Factory Outsourcing, Nursing Care Domain Support, Overseas HR, Others (Japan) and the recently added segment the Start-up Human Resources Support Business.

The group said the pandemic had impacted its businesses but added that its temporary staffing business remained stable.

Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 116.0 billion (USD 1.10 billion) for the year ended March 2021.

Shares in Will Group closed today at JPY 1,038.00 (USD 9.91), down 0.48% on the day and 12.33% below its 52-week high of JPY 1,184.00 (USD 11.31), set on 10 February 2020. The company has a market cap of JPY 23.48 billion (USD 224.28 million).
