S-Pool Inc. (2471:TYO), a Tokyo-based staffing provider, reported revenue rose 11.0% in the first nine months of its fiscal year, which ended 31 August 2022. Net income was up 14.0%.

The group said that while sales in the human resources outsourcing service have been on an upward trend for a long time, the slowdown in the recovery of the sales support business combined with the reduction in spot projects in the sales centre business ‘put the brakes on expansion.’
Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 28.77 million (USD 0.2 million) for the year ended 30 November 2022.
Shares in S-Pool closed at JPY 1,061.00 (USD 7.33), up 3.51% on the day and 13.60% above the 52 week low of JPY 934.00 (USD 6.45) set on 18 February 2022. The company has a market cap of JPY 81.22 billion (USD 561.2 million).
