Artner Co. Ltd. (2163:TYO) on Wednesday raised its forecast for sales in its fiscal year ending 31 January 2022. The Yokohama, Japan-based staffing firm now expects sales of JPY 7.99 billion (USD 72.6 million), an increase of 4.2% from its earlier forecast of JPY 7.67 billion (USD 69.7 million).

The new forecast represents a 11.4% increase over sales of JPY 7.17 billion (USD 68.5 million) in its fiscal year ended 31 January 2020.

Artner reported it’s increasing its forecast as the unit price of engineers, its staff and hours of work required have been steadily increasing compared to its initial forecast.

In addition, Artner raised its forecast for net income for the fiscal year ending January 2022 to JPY 677.0 million (USD 6.2 million) from the earlier forecast of JPY 563.0 million (USD 5.1 million).
