Netherlands-based Logistic Force, an HR-services specialist active in the transportation and logistics segment, announced last month that it acquired VIA Logistics Professionals.

Logistic Force took over the activities of VIA Logistics Professionals on 11 April 2024.

VIA focuses on highly educated professionals in supply chain and logistics. It provides services related to recruitment & selection, secondment, self-employed mediation and facilitating training programs.

Logistic Force said the acquisition of VIA fits seamlessly into its growth ambition to become the leading HR service provider in transport & logistics in the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg).

Together, both companies expect to further increase their market share in the coming years. Majority shareholder FIELDS Group assisted Logistic Force with this acquisition.

Martin van Dijk, CEO of Logistic Force, said, “The acquisition of VIA gives us access to mediating higher office positions and self-employed persons, where Logistic Force mainly concentrates on supplying drivers & personnel for the logistics workplace. Both companies complement each other perfectly: VIA gives us access to a new segment and Logistic Force offers VIA the facilities to accelerate growth within our national infrastructure and customer portfolio.”

The VIA Logistics Professionals brand will continue to exist and will operate under the umbrella of Logistic Force. The activities of Logistic Force Recruit (the group’s current recruitment label) will be integrated into the VIA label.

The price of the transaction was not disclosed.
