Japanese recruitment firm Artner (2163: JP) reported revenue last week for the six months ended 31 July 2021 of JPY 3.98 billion (USD 36.1 million), an increase of 8.9% compared to the same period last year.

Artner provides employment recruitment services across Japan, offering permanent, temporary, and contract staffing services. Also, Artner is involved in the provision of mechanical design, electrical and electronic design, software, and chemical and bio-based research and development services.
During the period, the group saw an increase of engineers in its engineer dispatch business. The group also cited decreased expenses as it promoted teleworking.
Looking ahead, the company forecasted revenue of JPY 7.99 billion (USD 72.5 million) for the year ended 31 January 2022.
Shares in Artner closed last Wednesday at JPY 890.00 (USD 8.08), up 1.48% on the day. The company has a market cap of JPY 9.21 billion (USD 83.64 million).
