The boom in the mobile technology industry, gaming, financial technology and education technology in India is pushing demand for skilled professionals to new highs. The advent of 5G is expected to accelerate hiring in the coming months, reports The Economic Times, citing research from TeamLease. Mobile application technology has put up 6,000-plus specialised job opportunities. As increasing smartphone penetration in the world's second-largest telecom market coupled with a rising number of young users, online push development and adoption of newer apps in gaming, fintech and ed-tech. These positions will require to be filled in the next six to nine months. "We are seeing massive traction in various segments of mobile app, particularly gaming, fintech, healthtech," said Gautam Vohra, vice-president and business head (telecom and engineering staffing) at TeamLease Digital. The demand for professionals in mobile tech is estimated to double, and gaming, edtech and fintech are among the segments that are expected to contribute towards the hiring momentum, especially when it comes to contractual hiring.
