Data from jobs website Indeed showed that searches for remote work jobs in India were up 966% year over year last month, the Business Standard reported. The report comes as India grapples with a second wave of Covid-19. Sashi Kumar, managing director of Indeed India, said he believes remote work will prompt recruiters to focus on role- and skills-based hiring, blurring geographical boundaries.
