Fullcast to acquire AppX in Japan

26 October 2023

Japan-based staffing firm Fullcast Holdings announced it will acquire all the shares of AppX Inc.

AppX, also based in Japan, is a printing company. Its subsidiary Impuri Co., Ltd., develops and operates job search apps.

The price of the acquisition is JPY 123 million (USD 818,540).

Fullcast said the acquired business will generate strong synergy effects through mutual customer referrals with its group, which also has strong recruitment capabilities.

The company added that the impact on Fullcast’s future business results is not at a level that warrants a revision of its business forecasts.

Fullcast provides short-term human resources placement, payroll service outsourcing, and long-term human resources dispatching. In the short-term operational support business, the company supports the following sectors: distribution, warehouse work, relocation, manufacturing, catering, sales promotion, call centres, and offices.

Fullcast reported revenue of JPY 33.12 billion (USD 220.4 million) for the H1 period ending 30 June 2023, an increase of 7.5% over the year.
