Creek and River full year revenue rises 12.9%

Japanese staffing firm Creek & River (4763: JP) reported revenue last week for the full year ended 29 February 2024 of JPY 49.79 billion (USD 322.3 million), an increase of 12.9% compared to the same period last year.

Creek & River, founded in 1990, provides business agency, production, outsourcing, and consulting services in Japan, China, and Korea. It offers temporary staffing (dispatching) and employment placement services for the creative sector, mainly for film/TV, game programming, and advertising industries. The company also provides medical staffing services.

The group’s creative field segment saw revenue rise by 115.2% over the year. The creative field in Korea segment, up 102.7% compared to the same period last year. Revenue in the medical field was up 103.6% compared to the same period last year.

Revenue in the accounting and legal fields increased by 107.9% compared to the same period last year. Revenue in the other business rose by 121.4%.

Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 55.00 billion (USD 355.97 million) for the year ended 28 February 2025.

Creek & River shares closed on 11 April at JPY 1,985 (USD 12.85), up 0.10% on the day. The company has a market cap of JPY 36.77 billion (USD 237.98 million).
