Staffing Solutions Enterprises, an Independence, Ohio-based staffing firm, acquired B&V Staffing, a Pittsburgh-based IT staffing provider. The deal took effect April 1.

SSE’s presence in Northeast Ohio, which includes Cleveland, complements B&V Staffing’s presence in the Pittsburgh market.

The acquisition follows SSE’s objective of expanding its presence in the region.

“By utilizing SSE’s strong infrastructure and resource pool, we feel we can expand our Pittsburgh operations while using our expertise in technical recruiting to have a big impact on the Cleveland market,” Anthony Bucci and Scott Ventura, partners at B&V Staffing, said in a press release.

Bucci and Ventura founded B&V Staffing in 2002.

With the acquisition, B&V Staffing will now operate under the name BV Staffing, a division of Staffing Solutions Enterprises.

“Anthony and Scott’s approach aligned very well with how [SSE has] done business for 50 years,” SueAnn Naso, president and CEO of SSE, said in a press release. “I look forward to working with them to grow their existing client relationships and to support even more companies in the Pittsburgh market.”

Terms of the transaction were not announced.

SSE provides staffing in finance/accounting, HR, administrative, sales, marketing and clerical.
