Kanzhun Limited, whose core product is job board Boss Zhipin, announced that it will be complying with a cybersecurity review following an investigation announcement yesterday from China’s internet watchdog, the Cyberspace Administration of China.

During this review period, the company’s Boss Zhipin app is required to suspend new user registration in China to facilitate the process.

The company said it will fully cooperate with the China government authority during the review process. The company plans to conduct a comprehensive examination of cybersecurity risks and continue to enhance its cybersecurity awareness and technology capabilities.

Apart from the suspension of new user registration of the Boss Zhipin app in China, the company maintains normal operations.

The watchdog also ordered work services platform Didi Chuxing and the Full Truck alliance to stop new user registration during the period of investigation -- which was to "prevent security risks to national data, safeguard national security and protect public interest", according to the Cyberspace Administration of China.
