SIA Announces Largest Staffing Firms in the Netherlands

Mountain View, California & London, UK — September 1, 2017 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, released its 2017 report on the Largest Staffing Firms in the Netherlands. The report features the top 50 staffing and recruitment firms ranked by their 2016 revenue.

Market leader Randstad accounted for 18% of staffing sales, while Recruit’s local subsidiary, USG people is the second largest staffing firm (7% of market share), followed by ManpowerGroup (3.3%), Adecco (3.1%) and Dutch company Timing Holding (2.7%). Together, these firms account for 33% of the market. Overall, the top 50 firms accounted for 61% of the market in 2016.

SIA estimates that the Dutch staffing market was worth €18 billion in 2016 and increased by +9% when compared with 2015. However, the median revenue growth rate for the 50 firms featured in this ranking was as high as 16% in 2016. 

“Firms positioned within the top 20 outperformed the rest of the top 50,” said David Papapostolou, Senior Research Analyst at SIA. “Fifty-five percent of firms placed within positions 1-20 grew faster than the top 50 median growth rate of 16%.” 

The report also highlights the five fastest growing firms in the Dutch staffing market. YoungCapital outperformed the top 50 list, with 59% revenue growth in 2016, when compared with 2015. It is followed by In Person (58%), Aethon (43%), The Employment Group (43%) and Consolid (40%).
