Mountain View, California & London, UK — August 14, 2017 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has released its 2017 report on the Largest Staffing Firms in Italy. The report features the top 50 staffing and recruitment firms in Italy ranked by their 2016 revenue.

Adecco, Manpower and Randstad, the largest staffing firms in the world, are also the largest three staffing companies in Italy based on revenue. These three companies’ combined income accounts for 39% of the entire market’s revenue. They are followed on the list by two companies headquartered in Italy–GI Group and Umana. Together, these five firms account for 54% of the market, in terms of revenue. Overall the top 50 firms accounted for 93% of the market in 2016.

"The market share of the top three firms remained stable at 39% in 2016, with Adecco accounting for 16% of the Italian market,” said Francesca Vassallo-Todaro, Operations Development Specialist at SIA. “The median revenue growth rate for the top 50 reached +8%, with the top 5 fastest growing showing revenue growth between 13 and 18%.”

The Italian staffing market has continued to grow at a faster rate than the global average, due to amendments to the labour market legislation as a result of the “Jobs Act” and social security incentives. The Italian market is now the 9th largest staffing market in the world.
