Mountain View, California — October 3, 2017 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has released its 2017 report on the Largest Global Staffing Firms. The report features the top 100 staffing and recruitment firms worldwide ranked by their 2016 revenue.

“The firms comprising the 2017 list achieved a combined turnover of $190 billion,” said Barry Asin, President of SIA. “With the global staffing market generating revenues of approximately $428 billion in 2016, these firms represent an estimated 44% of total global revenue.”

The top five companies rank in the same order as they did in last year’s version of this report, with Adecco heading the ranking, followed by Randstad and ManpowerGroup again as second and third in the ranking. Allegis, the world’s largest privately-owned staffing firm, retained its fourth position, with Recruit as the fifth largest.

Five US companies were also added to the list; and AirSwift entered the list at number 42, following the merger of Air Energi and Swift Worldwide Resources.
