IT Staffing Report

As market forces continue to pull demand and supply in opposing directions, we project US IT staffing revenue growth to remain largely unchanged. In SIA’s US Staffing Industry Forecast: April 2018 Update, we project IT, the largest professional staffing segment, to maintain a 4% annual growth rate in 2018.

DISYS acquires Pacific Northwest firm Xtreme Consulting Group

Consulting Solutions International acquires Technical Resource Group

Private equity buys Phaidon International

Phaidon International, whose US operations ranked among the fastest-growing staffing firms, was acquired by Quilvest Private Equity. In addition, Phaidon founder Adam Buck will be stepping back.


Quess Corp appoints president of technology solutions

Quess Corp (QUESS:NSI), a Bengaluru, India-based staffing firm,  appointed Pinaki Kar as president, technology solutions. Pinaki will oversee IT services business, IT staffing business, customer life cycle management and business process management in all geographies.

H-1B petitions decline despite reaching cap in first week

US Citizenship and Immigration Services reported the number of petitions for H-1B visas, used to bring in highly skilled temporary workers such as IT professionals, fell this year to 190,098, down from the 199,000 received last year and down from a peak of 236,000 received in 2016. 


Silicon Valley tech firm extends benefits to staffing firm workers (CNBC)
