Manchester-based construction recruitment firm We Build Recruitment has acquired the mechanical and electrical division of Cheshire-based Roebuck Recruitment.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The acquisition sees the formation of We Build Recruitment M&E. The business will provide contractors across the UK with temporary workers in a range of positions, including highly technical specialist roles.

Roebuck Recruitment’s co-founders, Richard Chadwick and Jonathan Edwards, will continue to work alongside Mike McNeill, managing director of We Build Recruitment in the development of the new sub-division. Their primary focus will be on permanent placements in construction, IT and sales.
