UK – REC’s Good Recruitment Campaign receives backing from more than 120 organisations

22 June 2016

More than 120 organisations employing more than 1 million staff in the UK have signed the REC’s (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) Good Recruitment Charter since the campaign launched, pledging to promote diversity and inclusion, offer flexible working arrangements, provide an excellent candidate experience and lead the way to promote ethical and professional recruitment practices.

The REC has recently entered into a partnership agreement with the world’s largest job site, Indeed, as campaign partners for the Good Recruitment Campaign. Indeed is also a signatory to the Good Recruitment Charter as a leading employer.

“The Good Recruitment Campaign goes from strength to strength, with HR and business leaders queuing up to become ambassadors for the cause because they recognise the value it brings to their employer brand,” REC Chief Executive Kevin Green said.

“By bringing these organisations together we hope to enable HR professionals and recruiters to share knowledge and become as successful as possible in the attraction and hiring of people,” Green said. “At a time when the UK is at near-full employment, and with the potential for a huge shake up in the form of Brexit, HR experts will play a vital part in shaping economic success over the next few years. I’m looking forward to covering some of these issue at our annual Talent Recruitment and Employment Conference this week.
