UK – Employers favour workers who are adaptable, CV-Library finds

The majority, or 71.5%, of employers in the UK favour workers who have the ability to adapt, according to research from job board CV-Library.

The research surveyed 300 UK employers on the top skills they believe are most important in a potential hire right now. It also found that 57.5% found that resilience as well as the willingness to upskill (39.7%) are also key skills that employers favour right now.

Meanwhile, according to the study, 89.3% of employers say they take a proactive approach to helping their employees upskill. The top reasons to help employees upskill include to develop employees careers in the company (67.4%), to retain top performing members of staff (63.3%) and to build an internal talent pipeline (53.5%).
