Capita, the UK-based provider of business process outsourcing solutions and professional support services, has entered exclusive negotiations to sell its Specialist Recruitment business to Endless, reports Sky News. The talks come as Capita begins the process of offloading parts of its business after a year which saw its CEO step down and the company exiting the FTSE 100 due to a falling share price. Meanwhile, the deal with Endless would value Capita’s specialist recruitment division at £25 million. Capita stated that it hopes the sale will allow it to focus on its core business of handling large multi-year process management contracts in both the public and private sectors.

Capita Specialist Recruitment includes a number of niche staffing brands covering education, healthcare, and social care roles. Capita Resourcing, which provides a range of contingent and permanent workforce solutions such as RPO, MSP, talent consulting and advisory services, does not form part of the sale.

Endless are focused on buyouts, non-core businesses, refinancings and turnarounds and target UK headquartered businesses with a turnover between £10 million and £1 billion.
