UK – Capita acquires employer branding and engagement firm

16 March 2015

Capita (CPI: LSE), a provider of business process outsourcing solutions and professional support services, has acquired ThirtyThree, a London and Bristol-based provider of employer branding, research, employee engagement, and digital media services.

The acquisition is intended to strengthen Capita’s existing resourcing and recruitment proposition, adding branding expertise and allowing it to offer a wider suite of services to new and current customers. Particular opportunities include developing innovative graduate recruitment and emerging talent campaigns. The new capabilities will also complement Capita’s work with a range of outsourced recruiting services.

Nicola McQueen, Director of Capita Resourcing, said: “ThirtyThree is one of the UK’s foremost employer branding agencies, with a track record and client list that speaks for itself. In the current market, ensuring that your company has a strong employer brand is crucial to ensure that you can recruit and retain key talent. Working with ThirtyThree, we look forward to developing cutting-edge campaigns for our customers.”

Andrew Young, Chairman of ThirtyThree, added: “We are excited about a new phase of growth and development for ThirtyThree under Capita’s ownership. As part of Capita Resourcing we’ll be able to offer a broader range of services to our clients and new development opportunities for our people. Capita’s track record of nurturing and supporting the many businesses it acquires speaks for itself.”
