The Michael Page Swiss Job Index recorded an increased in advertised jobs of 23.9% in February 2017 when compared to the same period last year.
From January to February 2018, advertised jobs grew 2.9% across Switzerland with the Romandie region leading growth (6.8%). The German-speaking region recorded a 2.2% increase in advertised jobs for the same period.
“We’re seeing a strong start to the year,” Nicolai Mikkelsen, Executive Director, Michael Page, said. “What is especially encouraging is that demand is spread across a number of sectors including financial services, pharma, and IT as well as in business administration related to the post-holiday commencement of the business year”.

Among regions, the Mid region recorded the greatest yearly and monthly growth with 51.4% and 6.5%, respectively.
