Spain – Proman acquires temporary employment firm Epos

31 July 2019

Proman, a recruitment firm based in Manosque, France, announced that it has acquired Spanish temporary employment firm Epos (European Personnel Organisation Services).

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Epos was founded in 2008 in the Catalonia region in Spain. The company employs 50 permanent employees and 1,500 temporary employees in sectors such as the industrial sector, logistics, agribusiness, automotive and chemistry.

Antonio Vargas, General Manager of Epos, said the acquisition will allow the company to expand in Spain in the coming years with the objective of becoming a major player in the temporary employment market.

Proman has been on an acquisition spree with a focus on international expansion. Earlier this year, the company made three European acquisitions including a majority stake in Rialto Recruitment, a Belgium-based executive search firm; CréaJob Services, a temporary staffing company based in Geneva, Switzerland; and Proman also finalised its acquisition of CarpeDiem, a staffing firm based in Pau, France.

Last year, Proman entered the US market with the acquisition of Paramount Staffing, a US-based staffing firm focused on industrial staffing.

Proman ranks fifth on SIA's list of Largest Staffing Firms in France.
