07 July 2023

ManpowerGroup Spain announced it has appointed Fabio Armari as new General Manager for Manpower Spain. Armari joined Manpower Spain in 2023 as COO. Prior to joining ManpowerGroup, Armari was a senior business advisor and held leadership roles in Italy-based Autogrill and Accenture.

María José Martín, who was interim General Manager of Manpower Spain, will assume the role of VP, Strategic Upskilling and Reskilling Solutions. She first joined the company in 1998. ManpowerGroup’s three brands operating in Spain are Manpower, Talent Solutions and Experis.

The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) announced the election of a new board member with expertise in healthcare staffing, as the sector gears up for a change in the NHS. REC members elected Hannah Ahmed to the board ahead of the recent Annual General Meeting. She will serve an initial three-year term. Her first board meeting is in September 2023.

The REC board delivers external directors who are independent people and do not serve as company executives at REC. They bring their unique expertise in recruitment and offer objective thinking and independent views.

Ahmed founded and is managing director of HG Group, a recruitment company formed nearly five years ago that works in the nursing, critical care, midwifery/neonatal and mental health sectors. She has worked for the NHS as a trust liaison coordinator. Her election comes coincidentally as the government published its first-ever Long Term NHS Workforce Plan which aims to reduce spending on agencies.

Liquid Friday, a UK-based umbrella payroll and outsourcing provider, announced the appointment of Del Williams as its new chief revenue officer. As CRO, Williams will work closely with the Liquid Friday board and internal teams to develop strategies that align with the company’s vision and objectives. He previously worked at Workwell, PayStream Accounting Services, HSBC, Bank of America and Churchill Knight and Associates.
