SGB ​Humangest, an Italian staffing firm, announced that it acquired Romanian HR firm IHM Total Consult SRL.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition was approved by the Romanian anti-trust authority.

IHM Total Consult, founded in 2004, specialises in the provision of labour supply services, recruitment and selection, payroll services and personnel administration.

According to SGB, the acquisition of IHM transforms SGB’s Romanian activities into a business with over €25 million in revenues.

“The acquisition in addition, brings further experience, professionalism and talent in personnel recruitment, selection and administration to the SGB Group,” the company stated.

Roberto Maroni, President of SGB Humangest, commented, "The acquisition of IHM will allow the SGB Humangest Group to consolidate its presence on the Romanian market by continuing to pursue its main objective of providing high-quality HR services to local and international customers.”

Gianluca Zelli, CEO of the SGB Group, also commented, "The acquisition strengthens our market positioning and our professionalism in labour administration and personnel administration services.”
