19 March 2021

The Ergalis Group, the 15th largest staffing firm in France, announced the acquisition of Vac'Action Santé, a placement network for temporary healthcare professionals.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Vac'Action Santé has seven agencies in Ile-de-France and 12 employees. The firm’s services include temporary placement of healthcare professionals, planning management, CDD recruitment (fixed-term, medium and long-term) and CDI recruitment (permanent contract).

“Through this operation, the group will provide support for the employment of staff on short term contracts. They are the first line in this critical period in the fight against the coronavirus,” The Ergalis Group stated.

Pierre Callot, Founder of Vac'Action Santé, said, “We are delighted to be entering this new stage of growth by joining the major player in specialised staffing in France. We see it as a magnificent opportunity to accelerate and to have more resources to pursue our mission: to enable healthcare establishments to quickly find qualified personnel.”

Vincent Punelle Managing Director of Ergalis, said, “Responding quickly and effectively to the skills needs of healthcare establishments is the challenge of this operation. A new specialised service which allows us to have the best placement offer for temporary healthcare candidates.”

The Ergalis Group also announced the creation of the Up Skills recruitment firm. This is dedicated to recruiting executive and expert profiles, top management and interim management. From its opening on 2 March, Up Skills already claims more than 60 consultants spread over 10 offices located in the largest French metropolises.

The Ergalis Group also announced the deployment of Talentpeople, a European RPO specialist in RPO to the Iberian Peninsula. Under the Winid brand, Talentpeople will support the human resources or recruitment departments in building their talent acquisition strategy, by providing dedicated experts and innovative tools. The opening of two first offices in Madrid and Barcelona will allow Talentpeople to consolidate its position in southern Europe.

Frédéric Noyer, Chairman of the Ergalis Group, said, “In a period of crisis like the one we are going through, we have to know how to take initiatives that will allow us to bounce back even better once growth returns. The mistake would be to be content with 'pushing back'."
